How it works

The Sulago® system is a fully automated, self-contained unit. While the core process is proven, the configuration of these steps is engineered to match your unique requirements.Its logic is designed for maximum efficiency and minimal operator intervention.
The raw biogas is first cooled to remove excess water, preparing it for purification and protecting downstream equipment.
A dedicated compressor boosts the gas pressure to the optimal level for the membrane separation process further down the line.
The gas enters one of two SULAFER® filter towers. Here, our patented medium instantly transforms H₂S into a harmless solid, delivering ultra-clean gas.
While one tower is active, the other is on standby. The system automatically monitors H₂S levels and seamlessly switches towers, guaranteeing 24/7 purification without any interruption.

Unlike the black, toxic sludge from chemical scrubbers or the hazardous dust from saturated active carbon, the end-product of the Sulago® process is an inert, iron-based solid. It’s safe to handle, easy to transport, and eliminates the environmental risks and high costs of hazardous waste disposal entirely.
In many regions, this material is even approved for reuse in applications such as fertilizers, walkways, or as a base for pavement roads, turning your former waste stream into a genuinely circular resource.
